The Return of Ricky

Ricky Williams makes his return to play the team that drafted him---Ditka with Dreads and all!

Miami (2-4) at New Orleans (2-5)
* The game will be played in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at LSU’s Tiger Stadium. It will be the Saints’ first game played in their home state this season.
* The teams meet for the first time since 1998. The Saints have won three of their last four home meetings vs. the Dolphins.
* Miami is just 1-10 in its last 11 road games, including its current five-game road losing streak. The Dolphins haven’t lost more than five consecutive road games since a six-game streak from 1968-69.
* The Dolphins have allowed 20+ points in four consecutive games for the first time since 1998-99.
* Miami head coach Nick Saban returns to the campus where he coached for the previous five seasons. Saban led LSU to a 48-16 record from 2000-2004, including a 13-1 record and a national championship in 2003.
* Dolphins’ RB Ricky Williams faces his former team for the first time. New Orleans traded eight draft picks in order to select Williams in the 1999 draft. He rushed for 3,129 yards in three years there, including two 1,000-yard seasons.
* The Saints look to avoid losing four straight games in a single season for the first time since 2001.
* Mistakes are killing the Saints this season. They have committed the most offensive penalties (68), the most giveaways (21), the worst turnover differential (-12) and the most points allowed off giveaways (93) in the league.
* Saints’ RB Antowain Smith has 789 career rushing yards vs. Miami, which is the 7th most by any player since 1970 (2nd among active players to Curtis Martin).
* New Orleans WR Az-Zahir Hakim has been a solid replacement for the injured Joe Horn, recording 17 receptions for 293 yards in the last three games (including two 100-yard performances).
