There are rumors about the UFC getting a deal done with HBO. The UFC was mentioned on the HBO pay-per view this past weekend. And Dana White, the UFC President, was heard talking about getting a deal done with HBO very soon.

Mark Kerr, a former UFC Champion and the star of "The Smashing Machine" was slated to face Wes "The Project" Sims, this weekend in Colorado. Kerr pulled out of the fight DURING the event...the cause was a broken hand.

The first round of Pride FC's open weight grand prix was this weekend. Josh Barrnet won his match against Alexander Emelianenko. He and Mark Hunt should now be the favorites of the grand prix.
