King James

LeBron James may have been playing the injury-plagued Washington Wizards, but that should not take away from the terrific opening series he put together. LeBron averaged 27.8 PPG, 8.5 RPG and 7.8 APG.

LeBron has been able to improve in two facets of his game that he struggled with throughout the regular season: free-throw shooting and turnovers. Against the Wizards, LeBron played mistake-free basketball, averaging an astounding assist-to-turnover ratio of 4.29 per game, which more than doubled his season average of 1.88. LeBron also shot a paltry 69 percent from the line during the regular season, but improved his accuracy to more than 80 percent in the first round while averaging more free-throw attempts than any other player with 12 per game.

If King James has a repeat performance in the second round of the playoffs, expect to see the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
