It was hard not to be surprised when Ryan Schultz trapped Chris Horodecki’s arm and proceeded to land numerous blows to the Polish Hammer's face. After all, this matchup occurred only 13 months earlier with Horodecki emerging victorious via TKO. It was also hard not to be suprised when Matt Horwich knocked out Benji Radach in the second round of the 185-pound title scrap. Before the IFL Grand Prix Finals in Connecticut, Radach looked nearly indestructible, winning his last five fights.

What wasn't surprising was the quality of the card and the incredible talent on display. As evidenced by these upsets, one thing we've learned is that just about anything is possible in the International Fight League.
