The King of the Shootout

No, that honor doesn't go to a top-flight scorer, but to New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist. Five goalies who have faced shootout attempts this season have yet to allow a goal, though among this group, only Lundqvist has been in net for more than three attempts without one getting past him. He has faced a league-high 19 shootout attempts and he’s stopped all 19 in three shootout victories -- all on the road. He wasn’t scored on in 13 rounds of New York’s 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia on Oct. 7. Long live the King.
