How do I pick my team?

PlayTheGame is not like other fantasy football games. It seems we never get tired of using this phrase but let us know if you are so we can start attempting to control ourselves. Anyway, to answer the question, a Premier League player can only belong to one fantasy team within a league and, as such, leagues need to reach the number of teams specified by the league creator ahead of the player allocation date. Once this is done, player allocation will take place based on the player rankings that each manager set.

Thus, managers do not pick their teams so much as set rankings that the game will use to assign players. However, once teams are allocated, managers take full control of their teams and will be responsible for all team affairs from managing the squad to agreeing transfers to adding (and dropping) out-of-contract players.

G.K:

After allocation has taken place, how long before we can pick up out of contract players or start transfering players?

PlayTheGame Admin:

Dear GK - All players are on notice for 48 hours after a player allocation to give each manager a fair chance to add unattached players. However, you can begin to transfer players immediately (though a transfer will take 48 hours to complete).
