Reasons to PlayTheGame

Those reading this probably don't need any more encouragement to register to PlayTheGame but we have never shied away from stating the obvious and stating it often. It is in this spirit that we present Bill Edgar's reason to PlayTheGame though we accept that some of our players may have come up with their own.

1) Unique players
Your players belong only to you. If one of them fares well, you can celebrate in the knowledge that – unlike in other fantasy football games – no one else in your league has benefited.

2) You won’t lose interest
No longer will your position in the table resemble the attendance figure at Anfield. The limit of between five and 20 teams per league will maintain your interest throughout the season.

3) Unlimited transfers
You can always respond to changes of circumstance.

4) Excitement of trading
Act like a real manager as you try to tempt rivals into transfers.

5) Exciting scoring system
The league table can change quickly.

6) Satisfaction
The large number of points-scoring categories mean a good knowledge of football is rewarded, leading to greater fulfilment if successful.

7) Rolling news service
Our journalists will keep you up to date with any news that might affect your decisions over who to have in your squad or match-day 14.

8) Tailored emails
You will be sent messages that relate specifically to your own league.

9) Great prizes
From trips to watch Beckham to televisions and table football, there will be monthly hand-outs.

10) No entrance fee
This one is self-explanatory

Watch Koumas. Remember Chimbonda, well Koumas promises to make a bigger impact. Hunger to prove oneself is a rare commodity in football, but Koumas will enforce himself in the quality level of football that the Premiership provides.
