In the past week, position eligibility has been added for the following players:
Liam Rosenior (Reading) now also RM
Phil Neville (Everton) now also RB and LB
Geremi (Newcastle) now also CM
Jamie Carragher (Liverpool) now also CB
Gerard Pique (Manchester United) now also RB
Florent Malouda (Chelsea) now also F

Some other additional positions you should think about:
Abdoulaye Faye can play CB
David Rozenhal can play CM
And why not get rid of all the players who have left the league:
Heinze
Robben
Beattie
Luque
etc etc
PTG: We can't remove players as they are on owner's teams, whether they can play or not. Faye will be added at CB but Rozenhal has only played in defence so far this term so no change there yet.

I agree with the Sam above, can we get rid of all the players from the add release that have left the Premiership.
PTG: That would entail deleting them from owners' teams, which we can't do.

If Phil Neville played centre midfield for Everton but i had selected him at left-back, would he still score points for me?

Versatility - impact on scoring result?
Question - where a player has versatility across the two main positional groupings (gk/def v mid/for), my e.g. being Riise, if I select the player to play as a midfielder (his secondary available position) and he scores, is the goal credited to my mid/for set of results or does it track to the players primary position and therefor credit in the gk/def group?
Sure this is explained somewhere but cant find it!

You should defo get rid of players who have left the league - makes sense.
Also, there are players on here who you have not allocated enough positions for. Gary Neville should be RB and CB, he has played at CB at United many times. King at Spurs can play CM?
You don't want every player playing in every position but when you have some players like Phil Neville and even Van Persie having loads of different roles you need to balance things with other players. Perhaps there should be a cap of 2-3 positions per player or a max of 3 positions or something like that.
Rant over and out!
PTG: It's where they have played this season that determines if players get extra positional eligibility.

So you didn't remember the clocks going back and now I have unwanted players stuck in positions more than an hour before the match... School boy error guys.

Don't understand how you can answer Dan's completely pointless question but not answer mine and Jon Wilkinson's which are pretty relevant.

Does Frank Lampard not deserve an assist for the saved shot that Drogba scored from?
PTG:Eurodons, according to the definition of an assist within PlayTheGame, a successful pass leading to a goal is necessary. As such, saved shots cannot be included.

i'm pretty sure Geremi can play in defense
PTG: He may very well be able to play as a defender but he will not be eligible to play as such within PlayTheGame until he turns out there for his club.

Question: You can only play a position 38 times over a course of a season, but how can you tell how many you have played so far? I would be nice to know if I need to get more games for a certain position or less.
PTG: You can see the number of games remaining at each position on the Manage Team screen in the Left column.

Why? if a players is listed CM and his club play him in a different position, can we not be awarded
points. In these days of players
being played in various positions
(Ronaldo of Man Utd is such
a player,he can play any position
in the midfied and as a striker)
I think fantasy football should be
sensible enough to follow the clubs attitude
PTG: Players score points regardless of where they play for their club. However, a player is not eligible to be used in a position within the game until he has been used in that position by his club.
