Why isnt Flamini also eligible as left back? He was shifted there from centre mid when Gilberto came on in the 74th minute for Clichy against Liverpool. Do the players have to start in a position before the are eligible to play there?
PTG: Garry, in order for players to qualify at additional positions they do indeed need to start at the position. This is because football is considerably more fluid a game than the likes of rugby or many American games and as such a case could possibly be made for many players to be eligible at most positions.

How about Ian Harte to left back? He's been playing there for Sunderland since he returned to the Prem, and always used to play for Leeds in that position.

Ian Harte is, and always has been, a full back - usually left sided. I don't think he's ever played at centre back, where PTG lists him. Recently he has started twice for Sunderland at LB (and moved to right back in one of those). Will LB be added to his eligible positions any time soon?
PTG: Dave, Jamie, Darren et al, Ian Harte, of Sunderland, is now also eligible at left back (in addition to centre back).

If I play Hleb in midfield will I still get the points when he plays as a forward?
PTG: Jimmy, players become eligible for PlayTheGame positions once they have appeared in them for their club. As such, they can be used in any eligible position a PTG manager deems fit and will score in categories associated with that position regardless of where the player appears on the pitch.
