Etuhu tops most-added list

The weekend's fixture list may be dominated by Sunday's clashes involving the top four clubs though PlayTheGame managers naturally take a wider view of the proceedings. As such, most have cast their net wide in search of a player that may help in a particular category or against a particular opponent. Here are the lists of the most added and most dropped, respectively, players (the lists exclude transfers between teams) across the game. Some like the addition of Rio Ferdinand will make some wish they played in leagues where the likes of one of the best defenders in the league are still available while others may just provide a good idea...

Etuhu, Kelvin (MCY)
Shevchenko, Andriy (CHE)
Ashton, Dean (WHM)
Muntari, Sulley Ali (POR)
Kranjcar, Niko (POR)
Sanli, Tuncay (MID)
Jerome, Cameron (BIR)
Ferdinand, Rio (MAN)
Toure, Kolo (ARS)
Kalou, Salomon (CHE)

Top Dropped Players

Owen, Michael (NEW)
Neville, Gary (MAN)
Viduka, Mark (NEW)
da Silva, Eduardo (ARS)
Taylor, Matthew (POR)
Defoe, Jermain (TOT)

rob clowes:

can garrido play left midfield as he came on there at the weekend for man city?

PTG: Rob, Javier Garrido has had left midfield eligibility added.

James Duffy:

Morning,

I thought Lennon got the assist for Tottenham's goal - crossing for Berbatov? If so, he's not been credited with the assist.

Thanks,

James

PTG: James, after reviewing the goal in question, we will stick with our initial decision against awarding an assist to Lennon whose ball received a significant deflection before finding its way to Berbatov.

James Duffy:

PTG Team, thanks for letting us know. While I think that's scant reward for a piece of play the papers have raved about (!), it's also very appreciated that the PTG team clearly takes these posts seriously and follows them up - impressive work.
