The first weekend of Premier League games since the end of the January transfer window saw four players make their respective club debuts.
In no particular order (except alphabetically, by first name), the new starters are:
Alan Hutton - Centre Back (Tottenham Hotspur)
David Murphy - Centre Back (Birmingham City)
Erik Nevland - Forward (Fulham)
Roy Carroll - Goalkeeper (Derby County)
These players were added around 14:30 GMT on February 4th.

Alan Hutton plays at right back, and that's where he made his debut for Spurs. Surely he should be eligible to play there in this game?

There is a real dearth of left backs in this league - can you not convert some utility left midfielders.......
PTG: Only if they have started a Premier League game in Left Midfield (substitute appearances do not count towards eligibility)

While we're on the subject... didn't alan hutton fill in at left back at the weekend?
PTG: Alan Hutton started the match at Right Back and so is given eligibility in this position. If he starts a match for Tottenham in the league at Left Back then he will be given eligibility in that position.
