It has been bought to our attention that Daniel De Ridder of Wigan was not available in the PTG player lists despite having played several times this season.
De Ridder was actually part of last year's game when he was playing for Birmingham, so we have re-activated his profile as of 17:29 GMT on October 30th. Therefore he will be subject to the usual 48hr notice period if you would like to sign this player.
There are a small number of leagues where De Ridder is already associated with a team as he was in our original lists when we opened the game in mid July. In these cases, other managers in the league will not have the opportunity to pick up this player.

In Fabio Aurelio's profile you mention he earned an assist from a corner which lead to the penalty. Why hasn't he been credited with an assist then?
PTG - No Assists are awarded within PTG for penalties as stated in clause 15.2 (b) of the rules. Apologies for any confusion caused by the player news item.

Can you inform why Nicky Shorey was not awarded an assist for his cross that led to Luke Young's goal last night (as reported in Times) against Blackburn?
PTG - Whilst Nicky Shorey crossed the ball in from the wing that led to the Luke Young goal, there is actually a goalmouth scramble where Young takes a shot which rebounds off a Blackburn defender and then Young knees the ball into the back of the net. As a result of the defensive interference Shorey is not awarded an assist under the rules of PTG.

just a query, can modric be credited with an assist for the lennon goal yesterday? his shot hit the post then tapped in by lennon.... from reading the rules it's unclear whether it should be credited as it wasn't touched by a "defender or goalkeeper"....
PTG - We do not award assists for goals that are scored after a rebound from any part of the goal structure on the basis that the ball has only reached the goalscorer as a result of the rebound. The rules will be updated to improve clarity for this scenario.

From Fabio Aurelio's news items:
News: Aurelio earned an assist by taking the corner that Papa Bouba Diop handled to give Liverpool a penalty against Portsmouth last night, which Steven Gerrard converted.
So why didn't he get an assist point in the game (clutching at straws here, still haven't earned a single goal or assist from any of my defenders this season!)
PTG - No Assists are awarded within PTG for penalties as stated in clause 15.2 (b) of the rules. Apologies for any confusion caused by the player news item.

Being a man u fan i'm not sad to see a man city player play badly, but even i can't believe that richard dunne didn't make a single tackle in the 75mins he was on the pitch against stoke on the 26th oct! Is that stat correct?
PTG: Richard Dunne's defensive stats on Oct 26th were indeed omitted. We are looking at the entire game and the stats will be corrected accordingly.

Why did Rory Delap not get an assist for the first goal against Arsenal today? Are assists not awarded for goals that arise directly from throw ins?
PTG: Delap is entitled to an assist, but a technical problem meant that it was not credited. This problem is being addressed and Delap's assist should appear soon.

Do substitutes and reserves get points or does only the starting eleven get points ???
PTG - It is the first eleven and your three substitutes that score points for your team, therefore you have 14 active players scoring points.

Shouldn't Malouda be credited with 2 assists in the 5-0 win?
PTG: A technical problem prevented us from crediting Malouda with his two assists. This problem is being addressed and his stats will be updated as soon as possible.
