Manchester City Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been re-activated within PTG after coming on as a substitute for the injured Joe Hart at the weekend.
Schmeichel was actually part of last year's game when he made his debut for Man City, and despite being in our original player lists for this years games was removed as we did not believe he would play an active role in this years Premier League campaign for Man City. As a result of his return to action, we have re-activated his profile as of 21:00 GMT on November 17th and he will be subject to the usual 48hr notice period as has happened with all re-activated players.
There are a small number of leagues where Schmeichel is already associated with a team as he was in our original lists when we opened the game in mid July. In these cases, other managers in the league will not have the opportunity to pick up this player.

If you had unactived him because you though he wouldn't play a role, why then are players such as Shaun Maloney, who have transfered out of the Premiership still active?!
There are many other players like this in the out of contract pool.
PTG - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As a result we are going to undertake an audit of the player pool to make sure players like Maloney are removed.

Pretty odd to think that there isn't a good chance of a second choice goalkeeper, who is on the bench every week, playing any part in an entire Premiership campaign.
With that logic Lukasz Fabianski and Carlo Cudicini should also have been deactivated.
PTG - In hindsight it was incorrect to remove him from the player pool but was based on Schmeichel repeatedly stating that he wanted to leave Manchester City and spending the majority of last season on loan in the Championship.

Matt Taylor has started on the right wing for Bolton in the last couple of games, with Gardner/Riga/Samuel on the left, can his position eligibility be increased to include this?
Great Game!
PTG - Matt Taylor has been awarded RM eligibility.

I noticed that, since King returned to CB, Spurs are playing Corluk as RB. Perhaps Corluke should be reclassified as CB or RB?
PTG - Corluka is available as a CB, RB and CM

According to the Sunday Times both Diaby and Sidwell started their games for Arsenal / Aston Villa respectively at Right Midfield. On Sunday Behrami appeared to start in central midfield for West Ham. Can you please check all three and update eligibility accordingly.
PTG - We have added RM eligibility for both Sidwell and
Diaby. As for Behrami, after reviewing this players starting positions we have added LM eligibility, but not CM.
