Bill:

In all 4 of my leagues some people who entered the competition do not seem to be taking part and won't even respond to transfer requests.

Do you think a 48 hour response rule similar to the existing "notice" rule might be introduced next year so that any proposals not responded to would be automatically processed for the rest of the league to review in the normal way.

PTG - Thanks for your comment and we appreciate your frustration but not sure if your proposal is viable. What if you went on a weeks holiday to come back and find that your squad contained a load of different players because you hadn't been answering your email?

It is a tough one to manage, with the biggest problem being that we can never be sure whether a manager has given up or is just an infrequent player. Even then we cannot do anything to affect the activity or make-up of a league. We can only suggest that you contact the managers concerned with a personal message using the contact facility on the 'Team Managers' page under the 'League' tab and persuade them to get involved again or at least authorise transfer requests. They will however need to login which may require use of the forgotten password functionality which can be accessed from the PTG homepage.

Ant Gee:

in response to Bills request about people not responding to transfer requests perhaps next year when allocating people to leagues you could have a question in the set-up procedure asking whether entrants expect to be active managers on a scale of 1-5 say as from my point of view i am happier to play in a league if i know most managers are active like me.

PTG - We had similar functionality last year, but it does require people to be honest and falls down if they are not. The 'super leagues' we introduced this year should help to match the more active players and we will look to develop this further.
