New Player - February 16th

One new player has been added to PlayTheGame on February 16th 2009. Shaleum Logan made his debut in the Premier League for Machester City on Saturday 14th February.

Logan is being added to PTG player lists as is normal practice for players coming through the ranks and playing in a league match.

The player was added at around 17:02 GMT on February 16th and is subject to the usual 48 hour notice period.

Hi there - just wondering whether or not Park Ji Sung should have been given an assist for Rooney's goal... It just seemed like he had a shot that was deflected and then Rooney pounced? That doesn't seem to qualify as an assist under the rules if so...

PTG - Thanks for your question. It is correct that Park Ji Sung is awarded with an assist for Rooney's goal against Fulham as he shoots across goal and Rooney puts the ball in the back of the net. There does not seem to be any deflection before the ball reaches Rooney.
