Copying wish lists from one team to another

For those users with multiple teams, please take a look at the tip below sent in by Jamacian Red Devil that allows you to copy a wish list from one team to another....

NOTICE FOR MANAGERS WITH MULTIPLE TEAMS

For those with multiple teams.. I found a little workaround to "copy" your wish list from one team to another.

I don't know if this works in Internet Explorer but I've done it with Firefox and i have been able to have identical wish lists with my 4 teams fairly easily.

STEPS

1. make your wish list and save it, keep the list open (list 1)

2. open your second team in a new tab and go to your player rankings screen (list 2)

3. go back to the list 1 tab and save your list KEEP IT OPEN

4. go to list 2 and refresh the list... you "should" see the content from list 1 in list 2

5. save list 2

6. rinse and repeat for other teams where applicable

Jules:

Just tried this in Internet Explorer and it works. Major time saver. Large beer for Jamaican Red Devil.

Bill:

That'll be a red stripe then!

Kino:

This may sound a silly question but... what's a 'wish list' and how do you create one?

I played PTG last year and the year before and I remember being able to move players up and down the rankings before my team was picked. Is there a way to do that this year and, if so, how?

PTG - There is no such thing as a silly question. Your wish list is your player rankings and is set up in exactly the same way as last year. Once you have logged in, chosen a team name and your league, you will then be able to 'build your team'

There are several ways to link to this page, but once you have joined a league, go to the 'My Team' tab and choose 'Build Your Team'

Marc:

Wow! Cheers m8! Saved me a whole night of messing around, great idea! If UR anywhere near me I'll buy you a beer!! Marc, Northampton.

Matt:

It has something to do with that PTG won't let you be logged in to more than one league at one time. I had noticed this before but didnt realise it could be put to any use.
Thanks a lot Jamaican Red Devil, I think you've saved a lot of us a lot of time!

antony:

top man!!!!!

can you help me with this, i have created a team that i no longer want and it is stuck on my home page, is it possible to get rid of it now or am i stuck with it?

PTG - Once a team has been created it will be shown on your homepage, however you do not have to put that team into a league if you dont want to manage this additional team.

Jamaican Red devil:

thanks for the beer fellas...

I'll have a Guinness!

good luck to you all
