All you need to do is let the PlayTheGame community know who you’d like to join your League, post its name, password and league size and enjoy a season playing with like-minded managers.

holding a live auction in canary wharf, london area on evening of Friday 7th August. $50 to play - it all comes back out in prizes. have 8 folks signed up but looking to find 2 replacements for a couple who have had to drop out at the last moment.

Good to see INVITES TO PRIVATE LEAGUES on PTG News. Please display it regularly.
Managers in Private leagues with only 1 manager (themselves) so far may wish to remove their league and join Allsorts or Half Time Smoke or Kalma etc which are likely to run.

My league SUPERSUPER 20 is full 20/20 but it doesn't show LEAGUE allocation date on YOUR TEAMS like the others.
Also Allsorts league and Play til May seem to be full - so no more places there. Thanks to the INVITES BLOG then.
PTG - Leagues that have been set up to have an offline allocation will not have an allocation date next to them as the date is up to the league chairman. The first date that the teams of an offline league allocation can be entered is August 6th 2009

PTG - In the leagues we set up we only offer the option of 10 team leagues. If you want a 5 team league open to public and you can't find one advertised here, why not set one up and let us know the details and we'll advertise it for you.

is there anyone else who thinks that the best chance of a really competitive league is one of around 15-give or take a couple- of committed players? Non playing managers spoil it, and 20 is just too many to give a fighting chance when things go wrong.
I have noticed that there are a lot of private leagues struggling to make a larger quota, and annoyingly the PTG team are not allowed to put private leagues in touch with anyone else.
If there is anyone who wants an extra player to make up a mid sized league, reply here. if there are enough individuals, we can make our own. there must be at least 15 die-hards who would like a mid sized league

hey i tried to search for all of these leagues on the find a league search bar after choosing the option of invites only as a league chooser
i cant find any of these leagues so i assume they are all full

Very keen first time player, accessing PTG at least once every day, has joined Public League, only to see that 7 of 10 managers have not been online for a week already.
Allocation is this Tuesday, so may be concerned unecessarily, but bit worried league will 'collapse' very quickly.
Second team now created, in hope of joining Private League which will last the distance.
Any invites available?

Hi, I am very active manager who is looking for a private league with truly competitive and active managers who last till May. Used The Times league matcher and ended up in a group where 60% of the members havent been back since registering ( why register to play and dont take part I really dont understand) .

As a follow up to my earlier comments .. if no such league exists and there are others, who like me, really want to be in a committed league with active managers or a part of a public league where most of the other managers are 'absent' ( for want of a better less offensive word lol ) -- I am pretty willing to set- up a league for fellow disheartened yet keen competetive managers who are out in the cold at the minute ..

- This league is for serious active managers ONLY ( if anyone joins and becomes inactive -- well let's just say - the horse head in the bed scene in the Godfather, will seem mild in regards to what will happen to you ) :) j/k
- It is particularly aimed at the numerous people who have used league matcher and ended up in leagues where the majority of managers are inactive -- (like myself - fortunately got a work one that is active -- phew !!! )
- Make sure when you join you can last the distance; take viagara; drink red bull - do whatever -- but remember only the strong survive !!!
