Anyone still looking for a competitive league to join?

If you are still looking to join a competitive league that is set up as a private league but is publicised on the blog for anyone to join, then let us know if you are looking or if you have a league set up and want others to join.

Nigel is the latest person to contact us looking for a competitive league that lasts until May or he is willing to set one up if others are interested.

If you want to advertise a league you have set up, all you need to do is let us know who you’d like to join your League, post its name, password, league size and scheduled allocation date and enjoy a season playing with like-minded managers.

wizbit:

I am looking for a league for 2 people to join. Anyone got space?

Trevor Teasdale:

looking to join a league, has anyone got space?

nigel's mum:

I just want to wish Nigel best of luck in finding a league to play in.

Colin:

I have space in a five team leauge, still looking for 3 teams to join, so you are welcome to join and if you can find a third player all the better. Details include:

League Name: S.S LEAGUE
Password: star14sevenforce
League's player allocation is 28/08 2009

Colin:

If more players are looking for a leauge to join I will extend the number of team places if there is interest to a maximum of 10. Thanks Again.

Mark Morris:

Just checking something

Did Bassong have just 14 defensive interceptions in 180 minutes of football, that doesn't sound right to me, it looks like it is only the defensive interceptions against Liverpool that were recorded. Can you help me with this, thanks, Mark

PTG - Bassong recieved 7 defensive points in the first match and 8 defensive points in the second match which equals 15 as shown on the player statistics pages

Colin:

I have one place left now to take the leauge to the minimum number of 5 teams required. However if there is interest I will extend the number of team places available to suit.

League Name: S.S LEAGUE
Password: star14sevenforce
League's player allocation is 28/08 2009

Thanks Again.

Oliver Brown:

This isn't very relevent to topic but anyway. I have agreed a transfer with another player yet it appears that he has released the player I was going to swap. This is fine but it still says in the transfers and transactions section that the transfer will go ahead even though he does not own the player. I am confused

PTG - In this scenario the transfer will just be rejected when it is processed as the player no longer exists within the team you were going to sign him from.

Nigel:

Colin - can u add one more to your league -- just saw your notice.

PTG - Nigel, we cannot give out users email addresses. If this league is now closed, looks like 'Enter Valhalla' still has some free spaces - see below.

Rorschach:

League Name : Enter Valhalla
Password : valkyrie
Allocation Date: 29/08/09 (may be subject to change
No of managers : 10

7 spots left

Hope to see you there ...

Note Bien:

- This league is for serious active managers ONLY who last till May
- It is particularly aimed at the numerous people who have used league matcher and ended up in leagues where managers are inactive

Rorschach:

5 spots left in Enter Valhalla but as allocation is friday midnight --- w/e the number of mgrs at 5pm tmw --- will be the final number.

Info posted earlier in this thread

Cheers
