Whilst most of us will agree that playing the most realistic Fantasy Football game was reward enough during the 2007/08 Premier League season, for 10 of the most astute managers in PlayTheGame their hard work paid dividends as the winners of our regular prize draws.

Chris Riley of South Shields found himself in Vienna for the Euro 2008 final as the winner of the end of season prize, but there were plenty of happy PTG managers the length of the breadth of the country as winners of our monthly prizes and we've listed them in all their glory below.

Whilst those above can reminisce about their past successes, for the rest of us it's time to look to the future. There's a whole new seaosn of PTG just around the corner and this year there's going to be even more opportunity to win.

The PTG team would like to pass on it's congratulations to the first two winners of our weekly prize draws. The prize draw conducted on 9th September was won by D. Burke of North Yorkshire and the winner of the prize draw on 16th September was won by J. Warne of Powys.

A big congratulations go to our monthly prize winner for September who is Mr. S. Newsham of Portsmouth who wins tickets to a Premier League match of his choice.

We've also just picked our latest weekly prize winner so congratulations also go to Mr. S Brennan of Stockport who wins a football kit of his choice.

The next weekly prize will be drawn on October 14th once the players return to Premier League duty.

PlayTheGame is all about managing your way to the top of your league in the most realistic online fantasy football game. You don't do it for prizes and plaudits. You do it to show off your football knowledge, earning bragging rights between you and your mates.

Everyone likes a bit of recognition though, just like Harry Redknapp and Jermaine Defoe when they won the Premier League's Manager and Player of the month for August 2009.
